Darwin’s natural selection theory explains this in great detail.
Welcome to the Isle of Spice, Omicron! You will find most of our citizens very warm and friendly to you as they group-hug you in their small buses and kiss and sniff you with their bare lips and noses. Most of us haven’t even been vaccinated because … well that would be just so rude and insultive to you, wouldn’t it? And we are just not that way in Grenada. We are known for our warm and embracing nature – even to you. I think you will quite enjoy your stay here. You will especially enjoy the lovely view of The Carenage and St. George’s harbor that would be made available to you at your premier accommodations specially prepared for you at the General Hospital. But don’t forget to visit Cemetery Hill. The view from up there is just … beyond words!
Caribbean Man, well said, people will drown in their ignorance.
Omicron will eventually get here, if not already.
below is an extract from India on their recent findings. from DNA India.com
India has reported 358 Omicron cases from 17 states as of now, Union Health Ministry said in a press conference. Of these 114 have recovered. 183 Omicron positive cases were analysed by India and some important facts have come to light.
Of the analysed Omicron positive cases, 73% of patients had a foreign travel history. Health Ministry data shows that out of the 183 positive cases 121 patients had foreign travel history while 44 did not have any international travel history.
The biggest shocker however remains that 70% of the infected were found to be asymptomatic and as many as 91% are fully vaccinated, 7% were unvaccinated and 2% were partially vaccinated. Of the infected, 61% are males and 39% are female patients.
“Eventually”? Eventually you’ll realize Omicron got here since last week. lol.
We all know Omicron is on it’s way, we know it is much more contagious than Delta, we think we know this variant is milder.
We know that vaccine will not always stop you from getting Covid but those of us with any sense know the vaccine reduces the effect of the virus. Vaccine take up in Grenada is still very, very low although everyone has been warned for long enough. Start getting vaccinated NOW before it is too late.
We all know what’s coming and it is not going to be good news.
Sad part is Storm there are people who have no clue what is coming as they lack global awareness. When presented with data and facts they will brush it off. Like when Ivan was on the way and some people say no worries man is a beautiful day today I see no storm… and then a few days later reality hits at category 5.
