Prime Minister Dr Keith Mitchell meets virtually with members of the psychosocial support team and other staff of the Ministry of Social Development

Prime Minister Dr the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell has underscored the important role of psychosocial support during the Covid-19 pandemic.

As he continued his series of engagements with various groups of public officers, Dr Mitchell said the tremendous value of this particular service cannot be over-emphasised, especially during this period when many are experiencing grief and changes to their socio-economic conditions.

Speaking to members of the psychosocial support team and other staff of the Ministry of Social Development on Wednesday, Dr Mitchell said, “This is a very difficult time for everyone. No one was prepared for the level of challenges we are facing. We are in unchartered territory and a lot of our public officers on the frontline, especially our nurses and police officers, are facing a serious challenge, so there is clearly a need for psychosocial support. Our health professionals are confronting an unprecedented number of daily deaths, there are people dealing with the loss of family members and colleagues and many are also faced with drastic changes in their financial situation, all of which are significant stressors on the human psyche and they need help to cope.”

Dr Mitchell commended the team of counsellors and psychologists who are going beyond the call of duty in serving the people of the nation during this critical time. The Ministry of Social Development now offers a 24-hour service for persons requiring psychosocial support.

The Prime Minister sees this as an area that qualified persons in the diaspora can easily contribute to.

He said, “This is truly an area of untapped resources. We have received many offers of support from people who are concerned about the current situation in Grenada, and I think the time is right to issue a call for help in the area of psychosocial support as these services can be provided virtually. The small team of persons we have at present, while I value their commitment, they simply cannot address the increased need in the country right now. We must do whatever we can to expand this area of service at this time.”

Dr Mitchell also recognised other areas of support provided by the Ministry of Social Development, noting that this particular ministry has a critical role to play in addressing the needs of the most vulnerable and contributing to the overall improvement in the quality of life among Grenadians.

Wednesday’s meeting was also attended by the Minister for Social Development, Honourable Delma Thomas and Permanent Secretary in that ministry, Chrissie Worme-Charles. They both commended staff for their ongoing commitment to the task at hand and thanked the Prime Minister for initiating the engagement as a show of support for public officers during this difficult time.

I am going to be generous and give Keith Mitchell the benefit of the doubt and say …..maybe he truly do care about the Psychological well being of those who have lost loved ones to CV19.

However, his Government have and continue to spend a lot of time Traumatising people daily, with 24/7 Fear and Scare about CV19 tests and …..we are all going to, unless we inject propaganda.

Most of those who will die from CV19, will be over 60 or 70 years old. Sick and obese
Sad as that maybe, the reality is that a CV19 death is no more painful or important than any other death from say Cancer, Heart, Stroke, Prostate, etc and warrant no extra support.

    All Deaths Matter!

If Keith Mitchell genuinely care about lives and health, it’s obvious the initial promise that these Experimental Genetic drugs has the Magic Bullet that would take everything back to normal….has been a failure.

A convey belt of injections and lockdowns is the depressing future that awaits, even if every man woman and child were injected.

The Key principles of any Vaccine is the ability to prevent infection and transmission of a disease. Non if that has been borne out by these mRNA Spike Protein Injections.

Give people psychological hope by doing something different that works…..encourage and help people to boost their Natural Immunity with supplies of Vit C, D3, Zinc, etc.

Make available and use cheap medicine and Herbs such as HCQ, Ivermectin, Quercitin, and Cannabis, Tumeric/Saffron, Ginger and Garlic which all work to kill SarsCov2, and cost mere pennies compared to Big Pharma solutions.

Maybe one day there will be real Vaccine that come along that doesn’t kill large numbers of people with Adverse Reactions, unfortunately that is many many years off and will be too late to natter.

Therefore, instead of spending large sums of money on more White Coats and Psychologists, spend it on boosting Natural Immunity and mental well being.

And its obvious from your words….none of us have any idea what you are talking about.

But let me restate it for you…..

All deaths matter. A lot more people are dying from all events deaths which dont seem to matter. Only a CV19 death is deemed more psychologically tragic and is lukely being exploited for political purposes.

The second part about a Solution that actually work to kill SarsCov2 Virus…… If the objective is Health and not simply money and power….its easy enough to understand.

Now if you have something to say….say it. I am not a mind reader.

Other than cheap childish personal attacks, do you have the ability to reason because so far I see no evidence of that
