British Airways have been holding on to my fare since January 2020 which I had book prior for returning to Grenada in a few months as I had returned in December 2019. They are now chasing me to book a flight for anytime from April to September 2023 but I would like to return in May of this year.
I am not a resident of Grenada – born in Jamaica but have lived in London since a child – 60 years currently.
I am not vaccinated but have a number of health issues – some serious and it was my choice not to be vaccinated. the problem is that The Ministry of Health (Grenada) has given a list of companies that does the PCR test but money does not grow on trees and even here they are saying that companies are ‘ripping people off’ with these charges and those I know that had it done recently at the airport etc. have paid £43 so why this exorbitant amount and why Grenada had to choose such expensive companies. I am a pensioner and thus every penny is important to me and the price of things are very expensive in the caribbean. I have a place to stay out there and I am not going to stay in an hotel – this is why I don’t really go on holidays as cleanliness is very important for my health as thousands visit and sleep in beds and it’s not something I have ever accepted so therefore I will need to go to my place of stay immediately as I am not a good traveller because as soon as I reach any airport my nerves go from beginning to touch down. Plus I need to go somewhere to rest as I said earlier immediately.
Right now the stress of never returning to the country I fell in love with is making me more ill. I came to a friend’s wedding in 2017 – my first visit and just want to visit it as often as I can though financially and healthwise it’s not easy.
I am looking into the saliva/spit test which I read is accepted but want to know if The Ministry of Health is O.K. with this and it more suits my pocket. It’s apparently accepted by the US and UK but I need to delve into this much further to check that this is definitely the case.
    Please advise.

Please excuse the error on my posting. Did read it prior but failed to see my mistakes.
