A 49-year-old Canadian who faced the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court today on charges of possession and trafficking of a controlled drug, has been remanded to Prison.
Steve Miller was nabbed two days earlier during a police operation at Morne Rouge, St George, when 2 kilos of cocaine were allegedly found at his home.
He is due to reappear in Court on Monday, 5 October 2015.
Meanwhile, in another drug operation, 215 units of cannabis trees ranging from 2” to 7’ in height were uprooted in Dougaldston, St John, on 24 September.
No one was arrested. Police investigations continue.
