The search for real estate is underway, and once the arrangement between Government and the Brazilian company Urbaniza gets going, there is expected to be a significant boost in employment in the country.
According to Prime Minister Dr the Rt Hon. Keith Mitchell, who was speaking with students of the T A Marryshow Community College at a recent motivational forum, the plan is to develop a duty-free site under the terms of a long-term lease with the Government of Grenada.
“They are now looking for real estate spaces in Grenada. There are negotiations with some business already to buy buildings, and that can provide tremendous possibilities as far as jobs are concerned,” Dr Mitchell told the students
“So, I expect to see some serious movements. There are a lot of steps being taken to bring more opportunities for the country.”
