15Â June 2016 is the date set when two young men accused of causing the death of a foreign national will return to court to begin preliminary inquiries.
Charged with non bailable offense of non-capital murder are Venezuelan, Gabriel Pestana, and Cuban national, Arturo Plutin Rodriquez.
The two men have been charged in the death of a Venezuelan 28-year-old male whose body was discovered sometime in the wee hours of Saturday 28 May 2016, in an apartment at Lowthers Lane, St George.
A police statement said that a post-mortem revealed that Jinardo José MartÃnez Rojas died as a result of extensive skull fracture.
Both men appeared at the St George’s Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 31 May 2016. They are represented by legal counsel Anslem Clouden and Derrick Sylvester.
