The Grenada Learning and Leadership Academy (GLLA) launched its Excellence Award Programme for primary and secondary schools in Grenada.
This gram gram, initiated by Ambassador Denis G Antoine — Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Grenada to the United Nations, has provided 10 tablets to the St John’s Christian Secondary School in Gouyave, St John, and 10 tablets and school supplies to the St Matthew’s RC School in Brichgrove, St Andrew. These tablets are awarded to students who have excelled academically in each form or grade in the last term of the 2014/2015 academic year. The aim of this GLLA Programme is to celebrate excellence, by providing motivational support and incentives to engender creativity and innovation in young people.
The GLLA is a recently established organization in Grenada, whose mission is to enhance the well-being of the Grenadian people by fostering cooperative, democratically accountable actions, to build organizational, community, and institutional capacity.
