Guardian General Insurance (OECS) Ltd. formerly known as Trans-Nemwil Insurance (Grenada) Ltd., took the opportunity to present annual contributions to several of the nation’s care institutions and sporting agencies, at its brand launch on Wednesday, 30 September 2015.
11 care institutions along with the Grenada Tennis Association and the Waggy-T Super Knock out Football Competition, received a sum total of EC$43,000.00. Mr Ronald Hughes, Managing Director of Guardian General Insurance (OECS) Grenada, presented the donations to the various institutions. Commenting on his company’s relationship with the organizations, he said “Our Company has been a historic supporter of many care institutions and also the development of sports across Grenada. Some of these relationships span over 20 years. We have specifically selected care institutions and sports as the focus of our contributions because these areas assist in looking after the well-being of our nation and the development and nurturing of the nation’s talent. Through our annual contributions, we recognize and commend these care institutions and sporting agencies, for the significant role they play in building our communities.”
Shortly following the presentations, Leah Orgias, representative from the Fr Hilarion Cheshire Home for the Aged, presented Guardian General with a plaque to commemorate the occasion and thanked the company for their years of continued support.
