This Sunday, 8 March, artists, art teachers, collectors and the public are invited to visit Ebony Fine Art Gallery and Custom Framing, at Red Gate in Saint David, which officially opens its doors for business from 3 pm.
The newest space for viewing and purchasing paintings and sculpture, for acquiring a custom frame for a prized painting, or to hold an exhibition, is owned by Adron Griffith. When Griffith relocated home to Grenada, he brought his art dealing experience from his previous gallery and custom framing business, established in 1989 in Dallas, Texas.
Artists are especially invited to see the types of frames the workshop can manufacture, as well as to speak to Griffith about possible exhibitions. Griffith’s frames are manufactured using computerized technology, ensuring a custom fit for each customer. The framing workshop is located to the rear of the expansive gallery space.
Griffith prefers art that passes on elements of history and supports positive messages. His message for young artists and for all craftsmen is “…to learn your craft, hone your craft… to be confident in yourself, know what you are doing.”

It is good to see Adron doing what he loves.
