The T.A. Marryshow Community College wishes to express its profound gratitude to Republic Bank for its assistance in completing phase one of the Mechanical Building project. The Mechanical building on the Tanteen campus was severely damaged after Hurricane Ivan in 2004. Restoration of the building has been a priority of the College administration despite the financial challenge being faced.
Phase one of the project included replacing the roof, window installation and painting. Republic Bank has generously donated $98,850 toward this project and has volunteered service time in assisting the students in clearing the area. The College community is sincerely appreciative of this gesture. Upon completion, the building will host classes for over 90 students within the following programmes: Fabrication Engineering, Building Trades and Services, Refrigeration and Air Condition Technology and automotive Services Technology.
